Rockstar Calls GTA V Conspiracy Theories “Nonsense.”

Rockstar Games has made a statement regarding some of the “conspiracy theories” surrounding the delay of Grand Theft Auto V, by calling it “nonsense.” Rockstar is responding to gaming blogs and various forums throughout the Internet. They’re suggesting that the studio delayed the title because they plan on releasing it on not just this current generation systems but also the next integration of consoles. So the conspiracy is that Rockstar needed the extra time to produce an “Xbox 720” and “PlayStation 4” version. But that’s just rubbish, according to the company.

To those of you saying or seeing various conspiracy theories about there being some other ulterior motive for this delay, rest assured that they’re all nonsense – literally the only reason we’ve delayed the release is because we want the game to be as good as it needs to be,” the company said.

While the company didn’t specify which conspiracy theory they are referring to, it’s the safest bet it’s the one that we mentioned. At the very least, it’s the most reasonable and talked about one.

Randomly, Rockstar did mention in the statement that the box art will be shown a “little bit later,” but did not specify when.

The company did not mention anything about a possible PC version or Wii U one. Although a little while back, they did say the title was up for consideration for those platforms.
