Netflix Members Can Use Service on Xbox Live Without Gold Subscription & Hulu Plus Free This Weekend

Do you subscribe to Netflix, but don’t have an Xbox Live account? How that about happens, I don’t really know. But if you fall under that category, then you’re in luck this weekend.

Xbox is teaming up with Netflix this weekend because the streaming video service is premiering its original series “House of Cards,” which stars oscar-winner Kevin Spacey. Now this is NOT one of those weekends when Microsoft is allowing anybody that only has a silver account, to access all of Live’s online features. This is strictly for non-gold members to be able to use Netflix for this weekend only, starting on February 1. Again, if you don’t subscribe to Netflix, the service will unusable this weekend.

Also getting into the mix this weekend is Hulu because of their content in the Super Bowl. Microsoft will be allowing anyone without Hulu Plus subscription, to use their Hulu Plus on Xbox Live. And you don’t just have to watch just the Super Bowl stuff either, you can watch any of the content Hulu provides on your big screen.
