Grand Theft Auto 5 for PC Listed on RockStar’ Worker’s LinkendIn

It shouldn’t be a shocker to anyone that Rockstar Games has announced Grand Theft Auto 5 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, but nothing for PC. Rewind a little bit when GTA V was released back in 2008, the Xbox 360 version, along with the PS3, was released eight months before the PC version. I’m assuming the same thing is going to happen for the fifth installment.

Today we get the first credible evidence to suggest that my assumption is correct. The examiner did some investigative work and noticed that senior animator over Rockstar Games, Robert Schacter, has stated that on his LinkendIn profile that he is currently working on animations for Grand Theft Auto 5 on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.

Obviously this is not a confirmation, some na├»ve person could argue that Mr. Robert, who spends all his time on the computer, put the PC version in his LinkedIn profile by accident, not out of instinct because he’s been working on it for the last year or two.

I for one think it’s a pretty clear indication that Rockstar has not forgotten the PC market, and they’re clearly developing the PC version as we speak but it just won’t come out the same day as the console version, just like the series has been doing for ages now.
