Nintendo Reveals Dates for the Virtual Console Sale

Remember back in 2006 when gamers were ecstatic about Nintendo announcing the Virtual Console? The idea was promising but now, it’s kinda expected they should be doing that. Maybe it’s because other companies have followed suit, but downloading old NES games gives me a ‘meh’ feeling. Well, whatever…

Anyways, today it seems as if Nintendo is pulling teeth to get their customers excited about the changes to their VC, in part thanks to their new system, the Wii U.

Not too long ago, Nintendo revealed that they would have a Virtual Console anniversary collection. And for a limited time, some of the games on the digital store would only be 30 cents. Not 30 cents off, but just 30 cents. Hell, that’s so low, I don’t even know how to make my keyboard make the cents logo thingy. I never use it.

When the announcement was made about the promotion, there wasn’t any info of when this would be happening. But today, thanks to Nintendo finally releasing the info, we have exactly when and what is going on sale.

Balloon Fight (NES): Wed, 1/23 to Thu, 2/21

F-Zero (SNES): Wed, 2/20 to Thu, 3/21

Punch-Out!! Featuring Mr. Dream (NES): Wed, 3/20 to Thu, 4/18
