EA Laysoff Employees in Vancouver
A report from IndustryGamers has confirmed that Electronic Arts is laying-off a small number of employees from their Vancouver offices. According to the EA, the small round off pink slips is due to a “transformation” of EA Canada and Black Box (Need for Speed: The Run).
According to the website, the publisher is transforming some of its focus to the digital trend, like social gaming. This slight reconstruction of the company is the reason why some of their employees will be in the unemployment line.
As of now, there has yet to be an exact number of employees who received the bad news.
