Rayman 3 HD Release Date & Trailer

As promised by Ubisoft, Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc is going to be released on Xbox Live Arcade and the PlayStation Network. Today we get word on when the updated version of the 2003 platformer is going to be uploaded onto the servers. And that day is March 21.

The remake will include High-Def visuals at 720P, 60 frames per-second, updated sound to take advantage of 5.1, and include nine mini-games.

Rayman 3 was first released on the Xbox, Gamecube and PlayStation 2. When it hit store shelves, it was met with overall positive reviews, although it was never considered a standout in gaming history, nor in the series for that matter.

Critics praised the technical achievements the game displayed, but at the same time, they felt the overall game-play was uninspiring.

If you never played the third installment of the famous series, it might be worth to check out. Especially if you’re new to the Rayman universe, thanks to the spectacular Rayman Origins game that was release late last year.

Below is the trailer for the Game.
