Batman: Arkham City Save Files Vanishing for No Reason
Apparently, some Xbox 360 owners are experiencing a major glitch, where their save files for Batman: Arkham City are being deleted, with no explanation.
The news started with complaints from forum users who were rightfully aggravated about their files suddenly disappearing. While there has been no official word into why this would be happening, users are starting to come to a conclusion that the glitch started when they downloaded the Catwomen content. which was released online after the game launched.
Warner Bros. is looking to fix the issue, and they’ve even asked those same forum users to give them information.
“We greatly appreciate and value you as a customer and apologize for any inconvenience if you have encountered any technical problems which might have impacted your experience with the game,” a representative from WB wrote on the forum.
They did go on to write they can’t reproduce the problem, so any help from the forum community could be valuable for them to develop some kind of patch.
“We would very much like to fix the ‘disappearing save files’ issue some consumers have been reporting with the XBOX 360 version of the game as quickly as possible. Thus far our QA department has been unable to reproduce this issue.
For those of you who are experiencing this particular issue, it would be invaluable to our QA team’s ongoing test efforts if you can contact WB Games Support (support@wbgames.com) and let us know some specifics as to the hardware and software configuration of the XBOX 360 machine you are playing the game on.”
