PS3 Exclusive: Buy Assassin’s Creed Revelations, Get Original for Free
Have a PlayStation 3 and you’re interested in playing the E3 hit Assassin’s Creed Revelation, but you are reluctant to play it because you haven’t tried the original? While you’re in luck because Ubisoft has announced that the first Assassin’s Creed will be included with ‘Revelations’ — free of charge.
According to the publisher, they have inked a “special partnership with Sony Computer Entertainment” that will let gamers experience the 2007 hit for the first time, or again.
Unfortunately this means Xbox owners are out of luck. But thankfully, you can head down to your local GameStop and plop down $8 on a used copy of the original, so it’s not a huge deal when you think about it. But in this economy, free is free…I guess.
No word if the free copy will be a actual disc, on the disc or for download only.
Assassin’s Creed Revelations will be available on November 15, 2011.
