Microsoft Uses LittleBigPlanet Song In Xbox Ad

When Sony was first showing off LittleBigPlanet for the PlayStation 3 a few years ago, they used a very distinguish song called “Get It Together,” by The Go! Team. To this day, when I hear the song I instinctively think of LittleBigPlanet and I’m sure I am not the only one who does.

Microsoft has decided to use the exact same song for one of their Xbox 360 promo ads, probably because it’s quite catchy. This doesn’t mean Microsoft stole the song from Sony because the PS3 maker never recorded it. However, I doubt its hardy a coincidence at the same time, but its all fair game as long as The Go Team! gave them permission.

In the end, it really doesn’t matter who really uses “Get It Together” because the only winner is The Go! Team. Maybe Nintendo will use the pop group’s better song “Milk Crisis.”
