Video: The Onion Spoofs a Video Game News Report

Hot New Video Game Consists Solely Of Shooting People Point-Blank In The Face

The Onion reports on what we call the most important video game in the history of the world. You know what, it could be sought after as the greatest form of art in the history of the modern society. Of course we are talking about the first-person shooter ‘Close Range.’ The game is a mix bag of the gritty comic book feel of Max Payne, the characters of Grand Theft Auto IV and the cuteness from LittleBigPlanet.

  1. im not sure if the video is of genuine gameplay, but if it is, then i have to admit that it is not “possibly the best game ever” but on the contrary, it is a pointless game where pointless violence is somehow topping the fact that this game has #1) horrible graphics for such a simple game #2) a silly cliche story. dont think that i am against a good violent game, but violence is pointless if you cant do it more than one way

  2. Richard,
