Snoop Dogg Coming to Rock Band
Obviously one of the only popular music genres that Rock Band is missing is hip-hop. Activision was self-proclaiming that their new rhythm game ‘DJ Hero‘ was going to address that later this year. However it looks like MTV and Harmonix are going to beat them because apparently rapper Snoop Dogg is about to come soon as exclusive downloadable content.
According to MTV, they have signed a deal with the famous artist, but as of now; no word on which tracks we’ll be seeing in the future.
Now, we’re just not sure if having hip-hop will work with a game like Rock Band, but we are completely open to the idea. It should also help EA because including Snoop Dogg to the already impressive list of artist; should only widen the games already large base. And hopefully open the door to even more genres for both Guitar Hero and Rock Band.
