NBC’s ‘Chuck’ to Feature Missile Command and Twin Galaxies

NBC’s popular series Chuck is going to feature the organization that tracks video game records, Twin Galaxies. The independent group has become a well know world record tracker because of controversy surrounding it in the unbelievable documentary ‘King of Kong.’

On the October 27 episode, one of the characters named Jeff (Scott Krinsky) — who is a coworker of Chuck, is a champion of the 80s arcade game, Missile Command. Because of Jeff’s unique skill, a global terrorist searches for him because he thinks he could help start World War III. Because of the pending disaster, Chuck is forced to socialize with Jeff. And learn about his talent in the famous retro shooter.

Throughout the episode, Jeff and Chuck must use the Twin Galaxies online database to receive valuable information. Kind of sounds like the ‘awesome’ 80′s film, ‘The Last Star Fighter.’
